Marketing Manager Public Sector (a)

What you're going to do

Are you a team player passionate about marketing and willing to deepen your knowledge of the public sector environment? Then join our dynamic team in Bern, where you can work on strategic challenges, ensure hands-on execution, and apply your skills in account-based marketing, demand generation, and content marketing. With your experience in event management, public relations, and digital marketing, we will continuously improve our product and service messaging and realize highly effective campaigns to support Adnovum’s growth and revenue-generating efforts in the public sector. You will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Enabling cross-unit collaboration between our public sector team in Bern and the in-house marketing unit
• Partnering closely with our public sector experts to strategize and execute go-to-market activities targeting the Swiss public sector audience (federal administration, cantonal administrations, and public organizations)
• Orchestrating and contributing to the effective positioning of our solutions and differentiating our offerings from the competition, turning this knowledge into marketing collateral and sales tools
• Designing and launching campaigns to create measurable pipeline impact and brand awareness among public sector decision-makers (account-based, persona-specific), prioritizing digital channels
• Planning, facilitating, and contributing to content creation, including fact sheets, landing pages, videos, e-books, studies, blogs, customer success stories, etc., together with our experts within the team (editing, design, digital, etc.) and across the company
• Planning, promoting, and holding events, workshops, and webinars for internal and external audiences in the public sector context
• Performing market, client, and competitive research to segment the public sector market and audience and identify opportunities, challenges, and dynamics for our Market Unit Public Sector 

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent training and experience
• 8+ years of experience in marketing to enterprise and/or public sector clients (B2B and B2G), ideally within the Swiss market; experience in marketing for a service provider, product management, or product marketing a plus
• Solid knowledge of the Swiss public sector (federal, cantonal, and public institutions), public relations experience a strong advantage
• Confidence in using analytics tools and CRM systems (ideally HubSpot); responsible handling of sensitive client data in the public sector
• Strong organizational skills with an analytical mindset; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Experience in diverse content creation
• Proactive and independent work approach that actively contributes to building up marketing activities within the public sector area
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in German and English, French a strong plus
