What you're going to do

In interdisciplinary and international project teams, we build innovative and pioneering software solutions for our clients. We are looking for an IT Project Manager to join the Market Unit Public Sector (job sharing possible). In this role, you will focus on managing complex and varied digitalization projects in the public sector environment. As part of the team, you will bear end-to-end responsibility for the smooth execution of our software development projects and thus shape the Swiss software landscape of tomorrow. With your organizational skills and strong customer focus, you solve even the trickiest situations and motivate the team so that we can celebrate success together. In addition to a highly dynamic work environment with flat hierarchies, as well as a unique work culture in which we value personal input and opinions and tackle new challenges together and grow from them, the following tasks await you:

  • Leading and managing software development projects with a focus on the public sector
  • Leading international project teams
  • Analyzing, evaluating, and coordinating client inquiries
  • Preparing offers, contracts, and offer presentations
  • Project planning, controlling, and reporting, as well as financial responsibility
  • Planning personnel deployment for different project phases
  • Ensuring the flow of information and the quality of the developed solutions
  • Using agile methodologies and tools, collaborating with colleagues, partners, suppliers, and clients on modern collaboration platforms

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, business informatics, or similar
  • Several years of experience in the management of software development projects in the public sector
  • Experience with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and HERMES is an advantage
  • Experience in sales/presales, as well as in creating and negotiating offers and contracts
  • Independence, initiative, team and solution-oriented approach and professional demeanor in dealing and communicating with various stakeholders
  • Fluent in German and English
