Senior Android Developer

What you're going to do
We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our team of engineers developing one of the highest rated mobile banking applications in Switzerland. The mobile app enables the customers of this large Swiss bank to manage all their banking activities on a smartphone or tablet. It supports account statements, credit card information, payments, e-bills, market information (quotes), stock trading, personal finance management, and more. You will work as a member of a distributed team with colleagues in Hungary and Switzerland. You will be part of a Scrum team consisting of native mobile engineers (iOS - Swift, Android - Kotlin), manual testers and other roles involved in the development lifecycle. You will be responsible for the following tasks:
- design, develop, maintain features that meet high quality and security standards
- provide unit tests to verify your implementation
- maintain and improve code quality (especially through code reviews)
- investigate, analyze, and fix incidents and performance issues from production
- collaborate with the customer and project leadership in Switzerland
- give and receive constructive feedback
What we're looking for
- confident knowledge in Android (Kotlin)
- knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns and best practices
- familiarity with RESTful APIs
- good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
