System Engineer

What you're going to do

Our IT infrastructure is critical for the work of all our employees. Therefore, having a modern and stable IT environment is essential to us. As a System Administrator, you will play an important role in the day-to-day IT operations by developing, maintaining and supporting our services and hardware within the workplace environment. You will install, configure and administer physical and virtual infrastructure devices and infrastructure services running on Windows and macOS. While having end-to-end responsibility for workplace-related IT services, like personal devices, office infrastructure, user and communication software, you will get the chance to further nurture your technical interest in your chosen field of expertise. In your daily work, you will:

• Design, develop and deliver cloud features and functionality to deliver a strategic platform leveraging Azure, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Managed Desktop.
• Use SAFe agile working practices to collaborate across engineering disciplines to release enterprise class cloud services.
• Engage with technology partners and their engineering teams on preview technologies to help shape products that will improve the services we provide to colleagues and customers.
• Create modern workplace solutions to increase productivity, reduce operational costs and simplify how we work with colleagues, customers and third parties.
• Drive continuous improvements to ensure we operate an evergreen platform.
• Provide mentoring and support for 2nd and 3rd level system administrators, including analysis and solving of defects, initiation and monitoring of actions, handling of service requests
• Work in cross functional teams located in Budapest, Switzerland and Vietnam with architectural, business and other engineering functions to shape, design and build solutions.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience with Microsoft 365 technologies, with a focus on Hybrid Exchange and Hybrid Active Directory security. This includes designing and implementing Conditional Access policies, configuring Identity Protection, and managing External Collaboration (B2B) settings.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Security and Microsoft Purview solutions.
• Expertise in managing Windows 11 and macOS endpoints using a cloud-first approach, leveraging Microsoft Intune, AutoPilot, and Endpoint Manager through MDM enrollment.
• Relevant experience in Windows infrastructure roles.
• Advanced knowledge and administration of Active Directory, Entra ID, SCCM, and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, and OneDrive for Business.
• Strong scripting skills, particularly with PowerShell.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate as part of cross-functional teams, working closely with architectural, business, and engineering stakeholders to design and deliver effective solutions.
• Solid understanding of security best practices.
• A passion for cloud technologies and a growth mindset, with a proactive approach to continuous learning and professional development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment.
