Senior Cordova Software Engineer

What you're going to do
Our development center in Lisbon is continuously growing so we are looking for new experts for our ongoing and brand new projects. As Senior Cordova Software Engineer you will participate in the development of the major Swiss mobile payment application. In your daily work you will:
- Closely collaborate with a team of developers and testers in order to design, develop, and maintain features which meet the highest quality and security standards
- Provide unit tests to verify the implementation
- Investigate, analyze and troubleshoot incidents and performance issues in production
- Depending on your strengths, the project offers the opportunity to develop in various technical leadership roles (e.g. as Mobile Lead Developer or Mobile Lead Architect)
- Use the following technologies and architectures: Apache Cordova, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, native iOS, and Android
- Depending on your capacity, you will support partly native mobile development with iOS (Objective-C/Swift) and Android (Java/Kotlin)
What we're looking for
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in mobile software development
- Experience in hybrid mobile development with Cordova
- Knowledge in Java back-end development (Spring, REST, JSON)
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS development
- Native mobile development (Android, iOS) is a plus
- Familiar with the usual development tools (Git, Ant/Maven/Gradle, IntelliJ IDEA, Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- Good communication skills in English
