To strengthen our Financial Services Market Unit, we are looking for a Project Manager to successfully lead complex IT projects in the banking and insurance sector. In this role, you will take full end-to-end responsibility for diverse projects, ensure smooth delivery, and actively shape the future software landscape of the Swiss financial industry. With your organizational skills and strong customer focus, you master even the toughest challenges and inspire your team to achieve great results every day. You will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Manage and oversee IT projects in the financial industry, including planning, controlling, and reporting
- Lead international project teams and plan resource allocation
- Handle risk, issue, and stakeholder management across all organizational levels
- Advise clients on project challenges and ensure the highest quality standards
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and support the preparation of proposals and contracts in collaboration with the Account Manager
What we're looking for
- Completed degree (University/ETH/FH) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field
- Several years of experience leading IT projects in the financial sector, ideally with a consulting background
- Proficient in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
- Experience in sales/presales, including proposal and contract preparation, is a plus
- Self-sufficiency, professional demeanor in contact with various stakeholders and strong communication skills at different hierarchical levels
- Excellent German and English skills
