Ready to actively shape complex IT initiatives in one of the most exciting industries?

In our Market Unit Financial Services, you will work closely with clients in the banking and insurance sector to develop forward-looking digital solutions. You will take responsibility for demanding programs and projects that create real impact—both technologically and from a business perspective.

Depending on the context, you will either lead individual complex projects or manage multiple interconnected initiatives as part of a program, taking full ownership of your projects. You will confidently operate at the intersection of business and IT, build strong relationships, and successfully bring together people, topics, and delivery. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading complex IT projects or programs in the financial services environment
  • Managing budget, scope, and commercial aspects
  • Building and maintaining long-term stakeholder relationships up to C-level
  • Advising clients on delivery, organizational, and transformation topics
  • Identifying risks and challenges early and managing them proactively
  • Leading and developing international, cross-functional teams
  • Ensuring high delivery quality and transparent communication
  • Identifying and further developing business opportunities
  • Contributing to proposal development and supporting contract negotiations

What we're looking for

  • University degree (ETH, university, or university of applied sciences) in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field
  • Additional training and certification in project management (e.g., PMP, IPMA) is a plus
  • Several years of experience leading complex IT projects and managing larger or multiple interconnected initiatives; experience in banking or insurance is an advantage
  • Experience working with agile methodologies and a strong sense of what works in practice
  • Proven expertise in client interaction as well as in sales and pre-sales activities (e.g., proposals or negotiations)
  • Strong presence and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders at eye level
  • Strong entrepreneurial and consulting mindset
  • Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style with a high quality standard
  • Fluency in German and English; French is a plus
