What you're going to do

In this position, you will apply your strong SRE mindset for the smooth, secure, and efficient operation of our platforms and technical services. You will not only work hands on with our tools and support processes but also take technical ownership of the operations team, defining standards, mentoring team members, and making sure our services meet the highest operational requirements. You will be responsible for the following tasks:

•    Monitoring, maintaining, and improving the operation of our client-facing security platforms and services
•    Ensuring platform stability and high availability through hands-on tooling and automation
•    Overseeing and contributing to 1st and 2nd-level support and coordinating on-call rotations of cross-functional teams
•    Driving the design, configuration, and continuous improvement of monitoring, backup, and deployment tools
•    Actively participating in incident response and problem resolution processes, including RCAs and post-mortems
•    Creating and updating technical documentation and operational procedures
•    Collaborating with development and security teams to ensure operational readiness
•    Continuously evaluating service metrics and proactively optimizing performance and reliability

What we're looking for

  • Degree in computer science, systems engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in IT service operations, DevOps, or system engineering
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), backup tools, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Linux systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a structured, proactive SRE mindset with ITIL knowledge
  • Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Bash, Python, Ansible)
  • Strong communication skills in German and English
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and support shifts
